Saijo Inari is a temple with an impressive torri gate at the entrance and a Shinto-style main hall, both of which are symbols of the shrine.
The official name is Saijo Inari-san Myokyoji Temple. The shrine holds many different events throughout the year, including a Bean-Throwing Festival during the time of setsubun (3rd or 4th Feb). 100,000 bags of beans are thrown with the purpose of chasing away evil spirits at the start of spring.
