Appi Kogen Ski resort

Appi Kogen Ski Resort is one of the best and definitely the largest ski resort in the Tohoku region with 21 trails and a total trail length of 45.1 km at all levels. The ski resort is situated on Mt Maemori (1305m/4281ft) and Mt Nishimori (1328m/4357ft) in the Hachimantai National Park.

Lift Pass: 5-hour ticket: adults 5,100 yen; Child (including high school students) 2,800 yen, 8-hour ticket: adults 5,400 yen, Child (including high school students) 3,100 yen
Access: 50 min. by bus from JR Morioka station
