Thank you people wonderful, very friendly and helpful. everything ,toilets, trains buses.taxis, restaurants, streets, spotlessly clean. the guides were superb and the hotels excellent. the trip to mount Fuji was amazing a must see.The trip to Hiroshima was very good and thought provoking. the bullet trains are amazing and Tokyo and Kyoto stations are well worth seeing especially Kyoto if you take the escalator to the top levels on either side of the main entrance and have a meal or a drink near the top. The emperors palace and gardens are worth a visit as are the temples but i thought as did other people that we visited too many temples. On the half day tour of Tokyo on the May 21 the trip was rushed and the visit to the Tokyo tower was a major disappointment .we were only in the observation deck for 45 seconds before we were told we had to leave by the tour guide and all in we spent less than 5 minutes at the tower. a waste of time. as i really wanted to see the to wer my wife and i visited the tower later in the day and at our own expense as we had to pay for the tickets and it would have been well worth while spending more time at the tower during the tour. But overall excellent trip.

My holiday, to see gardens, traditional steel making (for swords) etc was greatly helped by JT's super local knowledge, ability to find hotels to closely match all my needs, plus their good administration.
The Green Pass was very cost effective as I undertook all my travel in Japan by rail: it was also useful as a pre-bought ticket for local trains, thus avoiding the need to queue up at ticket offices:
The river valley journeys, eg Okayama->Matsue, & Nagoya->Takayama, were particularly beautiful, even when it rained! And in the Green Car one can see out of the front of the train!
All my expectations were met - A big "Thank you"

Historical sites(e.g. Temples, Shrines)

An amazing holiday, filled with great sightseeing trips and wonderful food. There was far too much to see in my whistle-stop tour, so I will definitely be returning. Travel was easy with the JR pass - just show it at the station gate and they let you through. There were also local trains and buses that accepted the pass, as well as the shinkansen. Language-wise, Tokyo and Kyoto were filled with English speakers, while out of the bigger cities I had to brush off my very rusty Japanese more often, but everywhere had incredibly useful tourist information centres that spoke a whole range of languages. I was away around the 2016 earthquake in Kyushu, although not travelling too close to the affect area, and the Japan Travel Centre were very helpful and willing to alter my itinerary if I'd needed to.

The whole holiday was excellent. Japan Travel Centre were extremely helpful and found us accommodation in central locations with friendly staff and at great rates. The Ryokans were truly a great cultural experience. Japan is beautiful and there is so much to see. It has an impressive transport system and the JR Pass was a bonus. People were friendly and the food was beautifully presented. A holiday we will never forget.

We enjoyed all of our stay from the kind, friendly and humble people to the numerous shrines, temples, castles and other touristic sites.
The 7 day Japan rail pass was good value with added RED bus travel in Hiroshima. We traveled independently but were late for the Cherry blossom season, but will definitely do the Autumn colors next year.
There were so many highlights but these were the main ones.
Mount Fuji and Hakone tour,Tokyo morning tour and evening hinode pier dinner cruise, Skytree and Tokyo tower,Fish Market, Hirajuku, Ueno park and Museums, Imperial palace and gardens, bullet train journey to Hiroshima city, bomb museum then dinner at sushi tei, picturesque Miyajima, Himeji castle and In Kyoto Philosophers path,Bamboo path,The Fushimi Inari Tori gates,Gion night walking tour and in Nara the deer park. In Osaka the Namba district along the canal followed by sky walk in Ueda. The Japanese culture and Shinto/Buddhism religions and last but not least the sake wine.

Our tour was organised by Sandy from Japan Travel Center.
She was very kind and patients and always willing to go the extra mile.
We where a group of 8 people with different requerimements regarding food and also health issues and Miss Lopez was very good a sorting out all the requests.
We also wanted a private tour to Mount Fuji and to stay at the traditional Ryokan to celebrate my birthday. Well the Mount Fuji was the high lite of the trip. It was organised to perfection. From the transport to the tour guide to the most amazing BBQ.
Kyoto was also a plesent surprise one of the most amazing cities we saw in Japan.
The hotels were very good and the choice of restaurants for breakfast was just excellent.
We are very happy to recommend The Japan Travel Center and we are looking forwards to take a second holiday in this incredible country.

We enjoyed all of the above. Every day was a new experience.
Our one disappointment was that Mount Fuji was cloud-covered on the day we visited. We'll just have to go back to japan to see it.
The itinerary worked out for us was perfect. it included all the things I knew about and wanted to see and many surprises - big and small.
We did 3 organised excursions but mostly guided ourselves and the advance information we were given was both accurate and helpful.
Japan is an exciting mix of ancient traditions and beliefs and modern architecture and technology.
We loved people-watching, as there were many Japanese tourists visiting the sites for the cherry blossom season.
There is a wide variety of food - fast and slow. A taste treat every time. And everywhere the service is outstanding.
Of course the trains are amazing - the busiest train stations in the world, the fastest trains and the most attentive staff - and all running precisely to time.
This was truly the holiday of a lifetime.
Thank you Japan Travel Centre.

Cherry Blossom time is a great time of the year to visit- smells are wonderful from hundreds of trees, great to see local people celebrating this time.
Transport links for city and in fact country wide excellent. JR pass invaluable. Historical sites and shrines wonderful some amazing carved and bronze Buddhas, large and small shrines all had something to offer.Food was great and interesting, thank goodness for picture menus. Japanese accommodation and service and hotel food was wonderful not to be missed! Hiring a car was interesting, thank goodness for English satnav, gave us freedom to explore the coastal regions found a cafe called Ripple overlooking a beach food and views great, but overall The Japanese were extremely welcoming and courteous people. An experience not to be missed - unanimous by all 7 of us in the party. Would call this an adventure not just a holiday.
Would recommend Japan travel agency. I dealt with a member of staff named Sandy who was extremely helpful any requests or alterations were always dealt with no matter how many times she was asked to amend. Nothing was too much trouble.

Japan is the most amazingly wonderful place I have every been to and I'm quite well travelled.
The accommodation we booked through Japan Travel centre was excellent. In comparison to the hotels which we booked ourselves via booking.com or hotels.com which were basic or over priced. The service and help we received from Japan Travel was excellent and made our stay in the Ryokan they booked for us to be a memorable part of our trip.
Japan Travel were exceptionally helpful with all of our questions and requests whilst booking our rail pass and looking at accommodation. We hope to visit Japan again and when we do, we will be contacting Japan Travel to help with our travel needs.
I would highly recommend Japan Travel to anyone looking to visit Japan.

First of all, the service from Japan travel centre was, in the main excellent. The accommodation found for us fitted our requirements perfectly. We wanted to try a traditional ryokan, but this was our worst experience, in Hakone at the Aura Tachibana. The rooms were fine, but dinner and breakfast were fixed menu and very traditional. We enjoyed Japanese food at other hotels and restaurants but at Hakone it just wasn't to our taste.
As we had paid full board this meant poor value and we had to buy food from local shops. We had 5 days in Okinawa at the manza international resort, and this was the highlight of our holiday, partly because of the facilities and location and also because we had our son and Japanese girlfriend joining us for this part of the trip, to organise things and help us get exactly what we wanted from the trip. We had a potential problem with hiring a car as I had not been advised to apply for the correct international license. Fortuna tely my son's girlfriend was able to step in and she had to drive the car. This was arranged by myself, so no blame attached to Japan travel centre, I just didn't do my research properly.
We saw a lot of what we wanted to see, toured Tokyo by bus, saw mount Fuji, toured the north and west of Kyoto seeing many of the main temples and the bamboo forest.
Weather was a bit unreliable, very spring-like (sunshine and showers).
