Many thanks to Kaoru, again, as this was the second holiday she'd helped me on. This was not just for finding well located hotels that suited me very well, but also for much v. useful advice regarding my planning of the trip - important for me, travelling solo & a non-speaker/reader of Japanese. The rail pass was excellent for convenience and still for me worth the money even though, for this trip, I suspect that it was marginal at best re cost saving. The Data sim was most useful too, especially for downloading map info - an important issue for me as I was several times "out in the sticks" and not in a free Wi-Fi area.

We were very happy with the service. Everything was great! Our travel advisor Sandy Lopez select great hotel for us. They where in good locations and have great rooms and service. She helped us to plan everything, bus tickets, tea ceremony and always advised on activities in the cities. Everything went smoothly. It was a great journey and we have very beautiful photos from our journey.

Just want to thank Japan Travel Centre for organising our family holiday to Japan. JTC were so helpful in booking our tickets and planning the itinerary, tours and hotels with us. It was made so easy. The holiday lived up to our expectations. The hotels were clean and we had adjoining rooms for our children. The tours to Ghibli museum and Mt. Fuji were easy to get to and enjoyable. Thank you!

We made western Japan our honeymoon destination as this was going to be our second trip to Japan and we were keen to explore more of the country.

The Japan Travel team made the whole experience of planning a trip completely painless, they gave us plenty of options and asked lots of questions to ensure that our trip was as perfect as it could be.

The accommodation was probably the choice we were most happy about! Hotels were close to the station when we'd been travelling for a long time but more secluded when comfortable enough to be. Many of the places we stayed we would never have thought to book ourselves and our experience was much more 'Japanese' because of it - especially the food.

Wakako even came to meet us at our hotel to hand over our transport passes and greet us in person after we exchanged emails for nearly a year. We made a lot of changes to our original itinerary based on her knowledge - staying in Yufuin instead of Beppu for a quieter stay for example.

We're already planning our next trip!

I would like to thank everyone at Japan Travel Centre for arranging what was for us a fantastic holiday in Japan.

The holiday itself was made even more special as the Cherry Blossom in Tokyo was actually a week  late blooming, meaning it was in full bloom whilst we were there. Fantastic.

Initially when booking the holiday we were a little concerned about how meeting up with all the various travel reps would work whilst we were out in Japan. Let me assure you, If you are thinking about traveling to Japan, relax. I can not complement the staff in Japan enough, they were all very prompt and looked after everyone as well as could be expected. In fact their professionalism was second to none.

The tours were very good and the sights we saw gave us a great insight into Japan of old.

We really enjoyed our time in Japan.  It was cherry blossom season, and we were lucky to hit the peak days almost everywhere we went.  Our focus was Kyushu, which we had not visited before.  We were especially impressed with the temples and shrines, the steaming volcanoes, the beautiful views of mountains and waterfalls, the ryokan and onsen experience, the Japanese gardens, and the historic sites in Nagasaki (Dejima, the A-Bomb memorial) and Kumamoto (the castle, which was still impressive even though it has been earthquake damaged: Kumamoto Castle in April).  We had excellent advice and support from the Japan Travel Centre who arranged personal tours for us (with drivers and guides) that allowed us to see things we never could have seen otherwise.  Wakako Kondo in particular not only worked hard with us in the lead up to our travel to get the best possible itinerary, but  also actively helped us during the trip.  We would be very happy to recommend Japan Travel Centre to anybody planning a trip to Japan.

Sandy of Japan Travel Centre made my trip stress-less and so much fun. I told her what i wanted and she made everything so easy when i got there as she helped in ensuring i really enjoyed Japan (traditionally and modern ways). I would recommend Japan Travel Centre to everyone as they ensured I got the best experiences possible and they are so helpful, attentive, understanding and absolute professionals.
