Lavender field in Furano

Furano is famous for its lavender fields. From late June the early lavender begins to bloom, and by mid-July it reaches its peak season. The most famous flower field "Farm Tomita" can be easily accessed from Lavender Train Station on the JR Furano line, which only operates in summer time. Norroko is the only train that stops at this station.
